Preparation of new Electoral Roll 2025 -  forms completed by 13th April.

The Church Electoral Roll is a fundamental aspect of the Church representation system which ensures people who live or worship in our Parish are involved in the operation and management of the Church.

To be included on the Electoral Roll you must be baptised and over 16 years of age and are a member of the Church of England (CofE) or of a Church which is in communion with the CofE or which subscribes to the doctrine of the Holy Trinity. You must also either live in the parish or regularly attend our services. Being on the Electoral Roll allows people to serve on our PCC and to contribute and vote at our Annual Parochial Church meetings.

The Electoral Roll is reviewed annually but every 6 years a new Electoral Roll must be prepared. This year all parishes are required to prepare a new Electoral Roll and this must be done in advance of our Annual Parochial Church meeting which will be held on Sunday 18th May 2025.

This means that even if you have been on our Electoral roll for a number of years you will need to complete and sign a new Electoral roll form; and if you are not currently on the Electoral roll but wish to join please complete the form.  A copy of the form is shown below and blank forms are also available in Church during March and early April. If you have problems accessing a form please email Gill Kemp, our Electoral Roll officer, by clicking here .

Please note that you can be on more than one Electoral roll provided you meet the conditions i.e. regularly attend more than one church.

Once completed and signed the forms need to be returned either to the envelope provided in Church or to the Electoral Roll Officer or one of the Churchwardens.

COMPLETED FORMS MUST BE RETURNED BY SUNDAY 13TH APRIL

Any queries please email Gill Kemp at the link provided above.
